- Who can benefit
- The parent (mother, father or the person who adopted) who, in the 2 years preceding the date of the child's birth, has earned for at least 12 months income subject to income tax · alternatively, the return-to-work bonus for the parent who returns to work before the end of the period.
- Required documents
- Standard form · parent's identity document (copy) · child's birth certificate (copy) · income attestation issued by the employer for the 12 months preceding the date of birth · proof of childcare leave (decision/attestation from the employer) · marriage certificate/divorce judgment (if applicable).
- How to apply
- In person, at the Social Assistance Department of the Town Hall of the place of domicile · alternatively, directly at the County Payment and Social Inspection Agency (AJPIS) Caraș-Severin · recommended deadline: maximum 60 days from the date of birth.
- Amount
- 85% of the average net income earned in the last 12 months · subject to a minimum and maximum amount, set annually under GEO no. 111/2010 · increased by 50% for the birth of twins/triplets.
- Processing deadline
- Maximum 60 working days from the date of registration of the complete application · payment is made monthly by AJPIS.
