- Either of the parents · in the absence of parents, the declaration may be made by the physician, persons present at the birth or the representative of the medical unit.
- Required documents
- Medical birth certificate · parents' identity documents (original and copy) · parents' marriage certificate (if applicable) · declaration regarding the child's name.
- Registration deadline
- 30 days from the birth for a live birth · 3 days for a stillborn child · 24 hours for a child who died before birth registration.
- How to apply
- In person, at the Civil Registry Department of the Town Hall of the place of birth · for births occurring abroad or with delay, the special procedure of transcription/late registration applies.
