The asset and interest declarations of the local councillors are published in this section in accordance with the provisions of Romanian Law no. 176/2010 on the integrity in the exercise of public functions and dignities, with a view to preventing conflicts of interest and ensuring transparency in the exercise of public office.
Note on publication · Constitutional Court Decision no. 297/2025. By Decision no. 297/2025 of the Constitutional Court of Romania (Official Gazette no. 543 of 12.06.2025), the legal provisions requiring the publication of asset and interest declarations on the websites of public institutions and of the National Integrity Agency (ANI) were declared unconstitutional, as they breach the right to private life provided by art. 26 of the Constitution. Asset and interest declarations continue to be filed with ANI, according to the law, but are no longer published on the websites of institutions or of ANI. The decision takes effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette, namely 12 June 2025.
The asset and interest declarations for the 2024–2028 term have not been published yet. The documents will be made available in this section as soon as they are submitted and published, under the conditions set out by Romanian Law no. 176/2010, as subsequently amended and supplemented.
Following Constitutional Court Decision no. 297/2025, asset and interest declarations are no longer published on the institution’s website. They are filed with and may be consulted at the National Integrity Agency (ANI), in accordance with the law.
