Conclusion of marriage at Brebu Nou Town Hall: declaration, publications and celebration.
- Who can apply
- The two future spouses, together · minimum age: 18 years (16 with a dispensation for well-founded reasons) · at least one of them must have his/her domicile or residence within the commune.
- Required documents
- Both identity documents (original and copy) · both birth certificates (original and copy) · pre-marital medical certificates (valid for 14 days) · marriage declaration · as applicable: divorce judgments, death certificates of previous spouses, guardian's authorisation for minors.
- Deadline
- The declaration is submitted at least 10 days before the date of celebration · after submission, the data are posted at the office (publications) for 10 days · the marriage is concluded within at most 30 days from the submission of the declaration.
- How to apply
- In person, both future spouses, at the Civil Registry Department · the celebration date is scheduled on the day the declaration is submitted.
- Cost
- Free for the standard procedure · separate local fees, under Local Council decision, may apply for celebrations outside the office or on legal holidays.
