Mission and vision

Gărâna Electric Park is a sustainable mountain-tourism project designed to raise the village’s appeal throughout the year. The concept brings together five distinct trails – each with its own profile and audience – on the same hill above the village.

Ambient night-time lighting, e-bike charging stations and the surveillance system all run exclusively on photovoltaic panels. The target: 80 kilometres of e-bike trails, turning Gărâna into a key destination for cyclists across Europe.

Verde Electric
2 km of dedicated climb

The only trail in the park designed exclusively for e-bike climbing. It starts at the base of the park, winds through the forest with 82 circular curves and reaches the upper car park, crossing the black trail.

Tight curves are banked. Wider ones include technical features – step-ups, bridges and a natural drop-off. Three solar-powered charging stations are spaced along the route.

E-bike stations

Three charging stations placed at the park entrance and along the green trail. Powered by their own solar panels.

03

Car park

Surfaced car park at the base, with direct access to all five trails. Space for cars and a bike rack.

04

Video surveillance

Solar-powered cameras placed at key points along the trails, for the safety of all visitors.
