The oldest surviving images date from the end of the 19th century. From photographs taken on glass plates to family albums and today’s digital archives, each image holds a part of the story of this place.
The Pemi community documented its life through photographs of families, houses, celebrations and the landscapes that define the identity of the villages of Brebu Nou and Gărâna.
