Cultural calendar
Gărâna · Brebu Nou
In the Semenic Mountains, culture does not happen only on stage. It lives in festivals, in the community’s celebrations, in exhibitions, in the meetings between people and in the stories passed down from generation to generation.
From international jazz and folk music to the traditions kept by the Pemi community for almost two centuries, the commune’s cultural year brings together locals, artists and visitors from all over the world.
Below are the main events that define the cultural rhythm of the villages of Gărâna and Brebu Nou.
Music, traditions and community meet here, between forest and mountain.
